Understanding how Crystech Arc handles tracking technologies
What Are Tracking Technologies?
Tracking technologies are small data files and scripts that websites use to remember information about your visits. At Crystech Arc, we use various tracking methods to enhance your learning experience and improve our AR development platform.
These technologies help us understand how you interact with our educational content, which features you find most valuable, and how we can better serve the AR development community in Vietnam and beyond.
Types of Tracking We Use
Essential Functionality
Required for basic website operation, login sessions, and course progress tracking. These cannot be disabled as they're necessary for the platform to function.
Learning Analytics
Tracks your progress through AR development courses, completion rates, and learning patterns to provide personalized recommendations.
Performance Monitoring
Helps us understand which parts of our platform load slowly or cause issues, allowing us to improve the technical experience.
Content Personalization
Remembers your preferred programming languages, AR frameworks, and learning pace to customize your educational journey.
How Tracking Enhances Your Experience
When you're working through our AR development tutorials, tracking helps us remember where you left off in complex multi-part lessons. If you're learning Unity integration for mobile AR apps, we can save your progress through each coding exercise.
We also use this data to suggest relevant courses based on your current skill level. For instance, if you've completed our beginner ARCore tutorials, we might recommend our advanced spatial mapping workshops.
Performance tracking helps us identify when specific code examples or development environments are causing crashes or slow loading times, which is particularly important for AR applications that require real-time processing.
Data Retention Timeline
Analytics Data
Page views, session duration, and course interaction data retained for 30 days to analyze recent learning patterns.
Performance Metrics
Technical performance data and error logs kept for 90 days to identify and resolve platform issues.
Learning Progress
Course completion records and skill assessments maintained for one year to track long-term educational outcomes.
Browser Control Options
Most modern browsers allow you to control tracking technologies through their privacy settings. In Chrome, you can access these through Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data.
Firefox users can find similar controls under Settings > Privacy & Security. Safari provides tracking protection through Preferences > Privacy.
- Block all third-party tracking while allowing essential site functionality
- Clear existing tracking data from specific websites or time periods
- Set automatic deletion schedules for tracking data
- Receive notifications when sites attempt to set new tracking technologies
Keep in mind that blocking all tracking may affect some features of our learning platform, particularly progress saving and personalized course recommendations.
Third-Party Integrations
Our platform integrates with several external services that may use their own tracking technologies:
Google Analytics helps us understand overall site usage patterns. YouTube integration for video tutorials may set their own tracking data. GitHub integration for code repositories may establish session tracking for seamless workflow.
We've configured these integrations to respect your privacy preferences where possible, but each service operates under its own privacy policy for data handling.
